Transactional website
The website I've chosen to use as an example of a transactional website is www.gak.co.uk It sells musical instruments, music production software and pro audio gear to consumers online, as well as having a store-based outlet. I've used this site personally many times and have found it very easy to search for products I want, whilst finding them very cheap and competitive.
Before choosing GAK, I had looked at some other websites such as Dolphin Music, eBay, Amazon and Argos, however either the sites are too vague, and badly designed - therefore leaving no features to comment about - or too vast, meaning there are too many features and pages to analyze. Sites such as eBay and Amazon for example, are two of the biggest websites in the world, and that would require extensive research and analysis to go into the same level of depth as I have on GAK.
